What Broadcastwell is

Broadcastwell is an AI search visibility agency for vertical B2B software companies. Twelve people, working as a distributed team across Bloomington, Chicago, San Francisco and New York: three management consultants, three AI solutions architects, two AI automation engineers, two operations managers, one designer and the founder. The company is registered in Indiana.

The work is measurement first. When a buyer asks an AI engine for a shortlist in a category, we measure whether a company is named and whether its domain is cited, across ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity and Google AI Overviews. Then we run a monthly program that acts on what the measurement found. Brand mentions, citations and the sources the engines pull from are reported every month. The same ten questions are re-scored across all four engines every quarter.

Two things about the company are worth knowing before you apply, because they shape the job.

The first is that it is early. There is early client work to build on rather than a large book of accounts to inherit, and no revenue figure to quote you. What exists is a working measurement pipeline, three published research volumes with their data and analysis code deposited publicly, three published client case studies, and a pipeline of prospects. If an early-stage company is the wrong risk for you right now, that is a reasonable read and we would rather you know it from the careers page than from a third call.

The second is that we publish the method in full: the exact questions, the engines, the scoring rules, the raw data and the limitations, so anyone can check the work or repeat it. The same standard applies to client work: limits stated plainly, no inflated claims, monthly indicators, and a quarterly number reported whether it moved or not. That is a constraint on how you would be expected to write and report, not a slogan.

AI Solutions Architect. Broadcastwell measures how AI engines answer buyer questions, and this role owns the architecture that measurement runs on. The architect on the team designs the multi-engine pipelines that query AI systems, score answers, trace citations, and turn raw runs into datasets the team publishes and clients act on. Current systems span workflow automation, four engine APIs, and scoring logic that has to stay honest at scale. The role suits an engineer who has shipped LLM-backed systems in production, thinks about evaluation and reproducibility, and wants their architecture decisions visible in published, recomputable research rather than buried in a black box. Remote only, United States. Full time. $140k to $190k a year, no equity. 5+ years experience. Skills listed: Python, machine learning, system design, solution architecture, data pipelines, large language models. Apply on Wellfound.
AI Automation Engineer. Broadcastwell runs its measurement, outreach, and content systems on automated workflows, and this role keeps that machinery growing. The engineer on the team builds and hardens the pipelines that run audits across AI engines, generate and score answers, and move data between the tools the team relies on. The stack today includes workflow automation platforms, LLM APIs, and custom scoring code, and the job is making it faster, more reliable, and easier to extend as the work scales. The role suits an engineer who likes owning systems end to end, debugs by measuring rather than guessing, and is comfortable being early at a small company where the automation is the product's backbone. Remote only, United States. Full time. $110k to $150k a year, no equity. 3+ years experience. Skills listed: Python, JavaScript, workflow automation platforms, large language models. Apply on Wellfound.
Management Consultant, B2B SaaS Growth. Broadcastwell runs AI search visibility programs for vertical B2B software companies, and this role owns how those programs get delivered. The consultant on the team turns audit findings into client-ready strategy: reading the measurement data, deciding what a company should fix first, writing the findings documents executives act on, and building the delivery playbooks the team reuses as engagements come on. The work sits between analysis and advisory, and it suits someone from management consulting, growth strategy, or B2B SaaS operations who wants their recommendations tied to numbers that get re-measured, monthly on the leading indicators and quarterly on the full four-engine score. Broadcastwell publishes its research openly, including measurements of itself, and expects the same honesty in client work: no inflated claims, limits stated plainly. Remote only, United States. Full time. $90k to $130k a year, no equity. 3+ years experience. Skills listed: Data analysis, SEO, marketing strategy, management consulting. Apply on Wellfound.

How to apply

Applications go through Wellfound. There is no separate form here and no application inbox to email, because a second route would only mean one of them gets checked less often.

Every open role, with its full description and current status, is at wellfound.com/company/broadcastwell. If a role is not listed there, it is not open.

The hiring contact is the founder. Expect the conversation to be about method rather than about tools you have used.

What the work looks like

The instrument is the product. Everything the company sells depends on a measurement that has to survive being checked. Three volumes of it are deposited with their data and analysis code, so decisions made in the pipeline end up visible to anyone who wants to recompute them.
Findings get published, including our own. Volume I, DOI 10.5281/zenodo.21537014. Volume II, DOI 10.5281/zenodo.21586091. Volume III, DOI 10.5281/zenodo.21789120. Volume III's headline changed during the analysis because a length control killed half the original claim, and the published version says so.
Small, and staying small on purpose. Done properly, each client engagement takes real analyst time every month, so we keep the number of concurrent engagements deliberately low. This is not a headcount growth story.
Fully remote, US-based hiring. The team sets its own hours across US time zones and work is judged on output. Visa sponsorship is not available.
