Privacy notice

Identity and scope

Broadcastwell LLC is a limited liability company formed in Indiana, United States. Where this notice says we, us, or our, it means Broadcastwell LLC.

This notice explains how we handle personal data collected through broadcastwell.com, including the Free 10-question check at audit.broadcastwell.com, the contact form, the Partner Network application and accounts at app.broadcastwell.com.

What we collect

The Free 10-question check (one engine) at audit.broadcastwell.com collects your company website, product category and a submission timestamp. We use this to run and return the result you asked for. No email is needed; runs are limited per network and per day, and by the site's daily allowance. If you ask for the result by email, your address is used for that reply and nothing else.

When you type a website address, the check reads that site's homepage and at most two more of its public pages, to propose your company name and category. It reads them as an automated visitor that names itself as Broadcastwell and links to this explanation. It reads only pages anyone can open without signing in, keeps nothing it reads after proposing the name and category, and runs nothing until you confirm.

A result link is made only when you ask for one. It stores your company name, website, category, the ten questions and whether each named you. It does not store an email address, your network address or anything else about you. It is deleted automatically 30 days after it was made, and anyone with the link can see the result until then.

The check counts, per day, how many checks are confirmed, images saved and purchase buttons clicked. The counts hold no personal data.

The contact form collects your name, your work email and the subject you select, and optionally your company website, the category your buyers use and a message. We use this to reply to the inquiry you initiated.

Our forms ask, optionally, how you heard about us and what you asked an AI assistant before visiting; we store the answer with your enquiry, remove names and contact details from the question before it is used in reporting, and set no additional cookie for this.

The Correction Desk asks for a work email so we can deliver your record to an account; we store it on that account and nowhere else, and the public Ledger never shows an email, a name or the text of a statement.

The Partner Network application collects your full name, work email, company or organization, job title, country, state or region, company website, LinkedIn profile URL, partner track, professional category, who you serve, how you would introduce or collaborate with us, a likely referral or partnership opportunity, whether you have an existing relationship with a prospective company, your disclosure consent and any notes. We use this to review the application and reply to you.

We do not ask for a phone number, a billing address, or payment details anywhere on this site. Payments are taken by our payment provider on its own checkout pages, and we never receive your card details. We do not collect special category data, and we do not knowingly collect anything from children.

Your account

Accounts store your email, optional name, company, domain and category, purchase and entitlement records, confirmed questions, job status, findings, answers, named alternatives, sources, receipts and fix status. We use them to provide the measurements and controls you request.

Sign in links expire after 15 minutes, work once and are stored as hashes. We do not store passwords. Sessions expire after 30 days and you can sign out everywhere. Stripe holds card details; Cloudflare hosts account data, n8n runs measurements, and Resend delivers sign in and results emails.

Account data remains until you request deletion. Export and deletion controls are available in your account. Deletion removes the account and its owned results, receipts and fixes. Minimal order identifiers remain without your account profile for payment recordkeeping; Stripe keeps its own payment records. Separately assigned existing client records may require our team to confirm scope.

Named connection tokens are stored as hashes and scoped to your account. You can set an expiry and revoke access. A result you share is readable by anyone holding its link until you revoke it. Free check limits store hashed account and network identifiers with usage counters. Counter resets do not mean these records have been deleted. Failed checks remain counted to prevent repeated paid calls. Contact hello@broadcastwell.com if you cannot access account controls.

Job applications

The application forms on the careers pages collect your full name, email address, city, the role you are applying for and a short answer on why you want the role, and optionally a LinkedIn or portfolio URL and links to a resume, transcript or CV. We use application data only to assess applications and reply about hiring. We never use application data for Launchpad, referral recruitment or any marketing. Joining or declining learning, referrals or the Exchange has no effect on hiring.

Applications are kept for twelve months from submission and then deleted. You can ask for your application to be deleted sooner by writing to hello@broadcastwell.com.

Nothing sent in an application is shared with third parties. The website host processes the form only to deliver it to us.

Connected apps, webhooks, share links and API keys

Connected apps. When you allow an application such as ChatGPT, Claude or a Slack workspace to read your account, we record which application, when you allowed it and when it last read. It receives read only access tokens that last one hour and renew while the connection is used; we store a one way hash of each token, never the token itself. You can disconnect any application under Connected apps in your account, which stops its access at once. Deleting your account deletes these records.

Webhooks. When you add a webhook, we store its destination address and a signing secret, both encrypted, and send the events you choose to that address. Event payloads contain measurement identifiers, counts, links and event specific fields, including any fix owner text you enter. That text may include personal information. We keep a log of the last 50 delivery attempts per destination. Deleting the webhook or your account deletes the destination, the secret and the log.

Share links. When you create a share link, anyone with the link can read the view it points to until you revoke it or it expires. Shared views omit your account profile's name and email address. They can include personal information present in the measurement content. They ask search engines not to index them.

API keys. We store a one way hash of each key, never the key itself, and record when it was last used.

The Absence Index

Claiming a vendor record on index.broadcastwell.com keeps a work contact and the details of the request privately for 24 months, so that the record and any request you choose to make can be handled, and then deletes them. Only the dispute date, vendor, category, release and status are published.

Verifying a claim reads a record published in the canonical domain's own name service. We never accept a domain supplied by the claimant, and nothing a claimant writes is published.

AI assistant

The site also offers an AI assistant. Questions asked in it are stored so we can improve its answers.

If you choose to pass a question to our team, you may optionally leave an email address. We use that address only to reply to that question. We do not add it to marketing lists or share it with third parties.

The assistant answers from published material and is not a substitute for contacting us directly.

Chrome extension

The AI Shortlist Check extension for Chrome collects no personal data: it reads the address of the current tab only when you click it, compares it on your device with data that ships inside the extension, and sends nothing.

Analytics and advertising

This site uses Framer's built in privacy preserving, cookie free analytics for aggregated traffic and site performance measurement.

We previously used Apollo.io to see which companies visited this site. It worked from the visiting network's IP address and identified organizations, not individuals. We used it to understand which kinds of companies read our pages and for sales follow up with companies that might be a fit for our services. The Apollo script stored a persistent anonymous identifier and a small event queue in your browser's local storage. We disabled the website visitor script on October 9, 2026. New page loads no longer load this script. Disabling it does not itself delete previously collected data or existing browser storage. Apollo's own privacy policy applies to its processing.

We use Microsoft Clarity to record how visitors use pages on broadcastwell.com, with all text masked and cookies off; it does not collect payment details. We do not run advertising pixels or cross site retargeting. We do not build advertising profiles and we do not sell or rent personal data.

Why we use it and our legal basis

We process personal data to operate the Free 10-question check you requested, process orders, respond to inquiries and partner applications, operate the site, identify visiting companies for sales follow up, and keep records of these interactions.

Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we rely on consent where you submit information through a form, on performance of a contract for orders, and on legitimate interests in operating the service, responding to business inquiries you initiate and following up with companies that visit the site.

Service providers and subprocessors

We use the providers below to run the site, checkout, measurements, forms, records and email. Each one processes personal data only as needed to perform its service for us.

Stripe: payments and checkout. Card details are entered on Stripe's own pages and never reach us.

Cloudflare: hosting and data storage for our public tools and client services.

Framer: hosting of the broadcastwell.com website and its native forms, including the Partner Network application.

GitHub: hosting of the documentation site at docs.broadcastwell.com.

Google Workspace: business communications and records of enquiries, submissions and orders.

Resend: transactional email, such as sign in links, order messages and results.

Tally: forms hosted on tally.so where a page links to one.

n8n: supports the delivery of ordered services, processing category questions, answers and report data under our instructions.

HubSpot: customer relationship records for inquiries, clients and partners.

Apollo.io: the historical website visitor identification described under analytics, and business contact data used for prospecting.

AI and search service providers: OpenAI, Anthropic, Perplexity, Google and SerpApi process category questions for the requested service. Anthropic also receives questions submitted to the site assistant and order correspondence, including buyer names and work emails. The other providers do not receive that correspondence. None receives card details.

Contact enquiries and Partner Network applications are delivered to hello@broadcastwell.com and kept in our business records. Cloudflare processes contact submissions, HubSpot retains the email address and any optional AI source answers, and Framer processes Partner Network applications.

We do not disclose submissions to advertising networks or data brokers.

International transfers

We are based in the United States, so personal data may be processed in the United States and in other countries where our providers operate.

Where applicable law requires safeguards for international transfers, we rely on the contractual and transfer terms available through our providers' data processing terms.

How long we keep it

Free 10-question check submissions, contact form submissions and Partner Network applications, including related correspondence, are retained for up to twenty four months from submission or last contact, then deleted, unless a different retention obligation applies under law.

Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, or withdrawal of consent.

Security and changes

We keep the amount of data we hold small on purpose, which is the main protection we can offer, and we restrict access to it to the people who need it. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

If we change this notice we will update the date shown at the top of this page. Material changes will be described in plain language rather than buried.
