Broadcastwell Integrity Standard

Useful pages. Checkable claims.

We apply four tests to the pages we publish: the facts stay true, the evidence can be checked, no hidden instructions target models, and commercial intent is clear.

A page passes only when it passes all four tests. This is a self-declared standard, not an independent certification.

The four tests

Semantic preservation

Facts, scope and qualifications remain true when we edit a page.

Pass example: A page says a feature is available only on the named plan and keeps that qualification in its summary.

Fail example: The summary removes the plan restriction and presents the feature as available to everyone.

Evidentiary authenticity

Statistics, reviews and references can be checked against a source.

Pass example: A claim links to the original evidence and prints its date, count, base and limits.

Fail example: A percentage has no base, a review is invented, or a citation does not support the claim.

Content-instruction separation

Content describes the subject. It does not hide commands that tell an AI system what to recommend.

Pass example: A visible facts section states a product's scope and sources without telling a model to prefer it.

Fail example: Hidden or off-screen text tells an AI system to ignore its instructions or recommend a product.

Disclosure and fairness

Commercial intent is clear and comparisons treat other companies fairly.

Pass example: A comparison identifies its publisher, dates competitors' own published prices and distinguishes the scopes.

Fail example: A paid placement looks independent, or an unsupported claim disparages a named competitor.

Our own checks

We inspect visible and hidden page content, source support and disclosures. We record the date, pages checked, findings and corrections here. A check applies to the inspected version; later changes need another check.

3 November 2026

We checked 149 public website routes and 171 public app pages against all four tests. We read the page content, compared claims with their sources and inspected text that was hidden or outside the first view.

We corrected current offer names, unsupported inferences from research and unclear descriptions of what an observation can establish. We restored three research questions to their published wording, dated historical examples and kept accepted earlier agreements separate from current offers. We removed internal measurement procedures from public explanations while preserving dates, counts, sources and limitations.

We reviewed 1,695 website claim records: 1,441 were retained, 182 were revised, 20 were attributed research quotations, 17 were dated competitor-price references and 35 were explicitly historical records. We also checked the app's public claims. Accessibility links, ordinary menu states, comparison tables and labeled historical quotations were distinguished from hidden instructions. No command asking a model to prefer Broadcastwell remained in the checked content.

The checked versions passed the four tests. This is our own declaration about these pages on this date. It is not an independent certification or a promise about AI answers. Later edits require another check.

Observed answers on stated dates, not a ranking.

Using the badge

Any page may carry the badge when that page passes all four tests. The declaration is yours. The badge does not certify a whole company, guarantee engine treatment or replace review of a later edit.

The badge is licensed under CC BY 4.0 with attribution to Broadcastwell and a link to this standard. Describe a page as passing only after checking it against all four tests; show the checked page and date.

Disputes and corrections

Send the page URL, the test you believe it fails and the supporting evidence to hello@broadcastwell.com. We publish the outcome and any correction here, without disclosing private correspondence or personal information.

No dispute outcome has been published in this log.

A check for partner agencies

Broadcastwell partner agencies can receive a dated listing after we check three of their pages. There is no fee. Each listing names the checked pages and date; it does not cover other work or later versions.

Read about the Partner Network. No agency listing is claimed on this page.

Read this beside the measurement standard

The integrity tests concern the pages. The measurement standard and methodology explain how dated answers are counted. We cannot make an engine name or cite you.
