Index Verified
Index Verified
The Absence Index is Broadcastwell's public record of which vendors ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode name when buyers ask for software. Every record carries its count, its base, its interval, the release it was measured in and a DOI. Index Verified is that record, claimed by you.
- Claim your record by proving control of your domain with one DNS record. No verification email, no fee. A work email and private retention consent are required.
- Show the badge on your site. It prints your real numbers from the dated release and links back to the record.
- Read your free Index Brief: one page, your record read out, who was named instead, where you lost.
- Dispute any result and get one same-configuration re-run per release at no cost. Both results are published side by side.
- Watch your record: an email when a new release publishes it.
Index Verified changes no number. It means the company proved control of its domain. It is not an endorsement or a ranking.
The climb, published
The climb, published
When we do the fixes, the next release shows the move. A client who opts in at kickoff gets a climb strip on its record, release by release, with the disclosure that Broadcastwell did the work. The numbers come from the same method as every other record, published under the same DOI. Your CMO cites it to the board. Your competitors read it too.
Category Exclusive
Category Exclusive
One company per category. The first company in a category to sign the Fix Sprint or the program locks that category: we do not run a Sprint or the program for any competitor in it while the engagement runs and for 30 days after. The Category Audit, white-label reports and every Index service stay open to everyone, because a measurement is not a side. The lock is ours to keep and it costs nothing extra.
Check if your category is still open. Read the Category Exclusive terms.
How it works
How it works
- Buy the $490 Category Audit. Ten buyer questions, five engines, three runs, a receipt on every answer. Findings within 48 hours of your category confirmation. Opt in and your category joins the next Index release.
- Claim your record and show the badge. Free, by DNS, in minutes.
- Lock your category with the Fix Sprint, $2,900, or the program, $13,500 per 90 days, billed $4,500 monthly. The $490 credits once against the $2,900 Fix Sprint within 30 days of delivery, so the Sprint is $2,410. We do the fixes. Day 30, the re-measure. Read the Fix Sprint and its guarantee.
Questions
Questions about the record and the lock
Can a company pay to improve its Index number?
No. No payment changes any number on the Index. Claims, badges, corrections and one re-run per release are free for every checked vendor. The method is published and every release is deposited with a DOI.
What does the badge say?
Your count, your base, the percentage and its interval, from a dated release, with a link to the record. Text only, no logos. A badge can pin a release or follow the latest one. An engines form prints how many of the five engines named you.
What exactly does Category Exclusive cover?
The Fix Sprint and the program. While your engagement runs, and for 30 days after it ends, we do not run a Sprint or the program for another company in your category. The Category Audit, the white-label Category Audit, the Second Opinion, the Portfolio Scan, the Re-measure and every Index service stay open to everyone.
How is my category defined?
By the category you confirm at intake, in your buyer's words. Where it matches an Absence Index category, the Index category applies. The check page tells you whether it is open before you buy.
Is my company's climb published automatically?
Only if you opt in at kickoff. You can withdraw before a release is built. The record then shows the Broadcastwell client disclosure next to the numbers, the same way every commissioned engagement is disclosed.
Is Index Verified an endorsement?
No. It means the company proved control of its domain and displays its record. It changes no number and judges no product.
