The Buyer's Checklist by Broadcastwell

Your buyer asked AI what to require before they ever searched for you. Is what you do on the list?

We capture by hand what ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews and Google AI Mode tell your buyers to require, question by question, and deliver the Criteria Table, your Differentiator Coverage and the Fix List within three business days of your intake confirmation.

$490 once. Included in the Fix Sprint and the program. Agencies $490 per client under their brand. Refundable in full within 30 days of delivery, no questions asked. The Checklist Audit carries no credit toward any other offer, and no offer credits toward it.

What has changed

The checklist, before the shortlist

Buyer research shows that much of B2B evaluation happens before sales is contacted, and the vendor privately favoured early often wins. MarketScale's July 2026 article brings together research from 6sense, Forrester and others. Buyers can also use AI to draft requirements, features and vendor questions. Those answers may shape the criteria before a shortlist. A differentiator can be absent from that list even when it is important to the product. The Checklist Audit measures this criteria stage alongside the Category Audit's shortlist questions.

What you get

The Checklist Audit, $490

The Criteria Table

Every requirement the five engines tell your buyers to demand, in how many of 25 answers, which engines, the source each engine cited, and the vendor it named beside it.

Differentiator Coverage

Your five differentiators, in your words. For each: present in how many of the 25 answers, with its interval, or absent.

The Fix List

For every missing differentiator and every criterion that favours a rival: the page types the engines cite for criteria in your category, what you lack, and the fix, marked as a Fix Sprint target.

The receipts

All 25 answers with engine, model, time and citations. Captured by people, never by a script. Perplexity is retained as the scored excerpt of at most 60 words and its share link.

The five questions

What we ask, by hand

  1. What should I look for when choosing <your category> software for <your buyer type>?
  2. Write the requirements list for an RFP for <your category> software for <your buyer type>.
  3. What questions should I ask <your category> vendors before buying?
  4. Which features matter most in <your category> software, and which vendors are strongest on each?
  5. How should I compare <your category> vendors? Give me a scoring checklist.

Each question on all five engines. 25 answers.

What happens next

Make the Fix List the work

Inside the Fix Sprint, the Fix List becomes the work: buyer-guide and evaluation pages with evidence, and the third-party sources the engines cite for criteria in your category. At day 30 we capture the 25 answers again and print your coverage before and after, with intervals. In the program, every month. This is an observation, with no promise of inclusion, position, leads or revenue.

We work on published evidence. We do not control the engines or sell placement in their answers.

The AI-Written RFP

Criteria across 14 categories

Our study, The AI-Written RFP, measures what the five engines require across the 14 Absence Index categories, 210 answers captured by hand, and which named vendor each requirement favours. Its results publish on the Index category pages as Criteria Maps and on our research pages.

How it works

From your intake to your Checklist

  1. Buy the Checklist Audit. In your account, give us your category in your buyer's words, your buyer type, your five differentiators in your own words, and two rivals.
  2. Within three business days of your intake confirmation our team captures the 25 answers by hand, builds the Criteria Table and maps your differentiators. Priya Nair, Management Consultant, reviews before release.
  3. Your Checklist is live in your account, with the PDF and the Fix List. Add the Fix Sprint and we build the pages and re-measure at day 30.

Read the Checklist rules and the delivery and refund terms.

Questions

Before you buy

How is this different from the Category Audit?

The Category Audit measures the shortlist questions: who the engines name when a buyer asks for vendors. The Checklist Audit measures the question before that: what the engines tell the buyer to require. Most companies need both; the Fix Sprint includes both.

Who captures the answers?

Our team, by hand, in signed-in seats, one question per fresh chat, with receipts. We prohibit automated capture. Each service also has terms governing automated access.

What does absent mean for one of our differentiators?

That the 25 captured answers did not tell the buyer to look for it. It is a record of the answers on those dates, not a judgement of your product. The Fix List says what would carry it.

What does rival-favoured mean?

That the engine named that rival beside the criterion in two or more of the 25 answers, with the source it cited. It is what the engine said, not our view of the rival.

Can you get our differentiators onto the list?

We can build the pages and sources the engines cite for criteria in your category and measure again at day 30, with intervals. We promise no inclusion, no position and no leads; the published method and the receipts are what you get.

Can my agency resell it?

Yes, at the same price per client, under your brand. We never contact your client.
